A little about myself, I was active duty for 6 years, then I was getting processed to get re-enlisted, but they would not let me due to the fact that I have a thing called drop foot where I have no arches in my feet, so they let me complete the final 2 years in the National Guard. I am still fighting was due to me from disability benefits, because I got out as an honorable discharge not a medical discharge. About 10 years ago I had major back surgery because my spinal cord was growing into my nerve in the wrong direction. I have to wear braces on my feet so I don’t fall and I walk with a walker. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Cancer.
